Overview

The foothills of Annapurna is truly one of the world’s most iconic landscapes nestled in the Himalayas, and if you are planning for a hike that offers everything you need, then look no further than Annapurna Circuit Trek.

The entire circuit trek is epic, and there are endless things to see: majestic mountains, traditional villages, mountain passes, deep gorges, native forests, glacial rivers, temples, gumbas and many more. Apart from the mountains, the trail connects up Nepal’s most idyllic mountain villages, where you can enjoy local dishes and get acquainted with the unique culture and lifestyle of Nepali people living there.

Annapurna Circuit Trek 17 days takes you through the beautiful trail to the north of Himalayas of Manang followed by Mustang, crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) and Muktinath Temple, and then hiking in the mid hill villages of Poon hill route in the Annapurna region. Muktinath is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhist all over the world.

The trail follows the anticlockwise direction, starting from Tal (1,700 m) and comes to close at Tikhedhunga (1,570 m), where you will witness a dramatic contrast in landscapes, climate and vegetation during the hike. The path out there continues through green terraced hills, rhododendron forests, and along the higher region of Manang that looks more like Tibetan villages and then towards the arid region of Lower Mustang. En route the views of several mountain ranges: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu are truly breathtaking.

The final stretch of the trail passes the quaint village of Poon Hill from where you can enjoy the stunning sunrise views over the snow capped peaks. And then heading into Pokhara, this place is so exquisite you’ll be wondering about its natural beauty, particularly the views and reflection of Annapurna range seen on the Fewa lake.

This is arguably Nepal’s best option for a multi-day hike. 17 days long hike time might appear excessive, but it’s worthwhile to explore the real natural and cultural beauty of Nepal amidst the tallest Himalayan peaks. Get yourself ready to hit the trail with us, we help you in every step of your journey.
