Annapurna Base Camp Heli Trek commences with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara a short drive for an hour takes to Nayapul, the starting point of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Accompanied by the epic views of green hills and mountains, you’ll trek along the quaint mountain villages of the Annapurna foothills while enjoying the warm hospitality of the local inhabitants.

From Poon Hill, you can enjoy the magnificent sunrise views over the Himalayas. Further, trekking in the higher region, you’ll continue through Deurali to reach Annapurna Base Camp. The trek comes to close with a helicopter flight back to Pokhara and then with a scenic flight to Kathmandu via aeroplane.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representative picks you up and transfers to your hotel. If you arrive early, you can take a rest for sometime. In the evening, you can visit our office for a trek briefing and meeting with our guides. Next, you can enjoy your leisure activities strolling around Thamel where you can shop trekking gears and explore local markets.

Day 2
Fly to Pokhara (830 m), Drive to Nayapul (1,010 m) and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,570 m)

In the morning, you’ll have a scenic flight to Pokhara. Enjoy the mountain views of Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges in the distance during the flight. Once in Pokhara, you’ll drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek for an hour.

From here, you’ll hike through tropical villages and terraced fields towards Tikhedhunga. Today’s trek is relatively easier as you climb stone steps for several hours and then along the bank of Bhurungdi Khola. Next, you’ll arrive at Hille and a short hike from here takes you to Tikhedhunga.

Day 3
Trek to Ghorepani (2,840 m)

Leaving Tikhedhunga, we ascend steeply for an hour to reach Ulleri enjoying the mountain views on the way. You can see the breathtaking views of Annapurna, Hiuchuli, and Machhapuchhre peaks. Continuing on the trails, you’ll cross several streams, walking past the rhododendron forests to arrive at Nangethani. Next, walking for an hour leads to Ghorepani where we spend a night there.

Day 4
Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210 m) and Trek to Tadapani (2,610 m)

Up early, we hike up to Poon Hill to watch the stunning sunrise views over the mighty Himalayan peaks. You’ll enjoy the amazing views as the first rays of the sun falls on the snow capped Annapurna ranges and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Next, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast, and then continue to ascend the hills passing by the lush forests. You’ll walk past the Deurali, reach Banthati village and finally arrive at Tadapani village. Enjoy the superb views of the Himalayan peaks seen from this beautiful village during your overnight stay.

Day 5
Trek to Sinuwa (2,360 m)

Trekking through lovely terraced fields and valleys, you hike to Sinuwa enjoying the superb views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre along the journey. Once at Kimrong Danda, you descend the hill to arrive at Kimrong Khola and continue ascending to reach Taulung.

From here, the trail leads to Chomrong from where you can enjoy unobstructed views of Himal Chuli and Annapurna South. Next, crossing the Chhomrong River on the way, a short ascend takes you to Sinuwa, a beautiful village on the Annapurna foothills.

Day 6
Trek to Deurali (3,200 m)

Ascending again, you hike to Deurali today. There are lots of natural sceneries to explore on this trail. Continuing on, you walk past the villages of Khuldighar, then slowly descend towards Bamboo. Next, the trail continues through lush forests before arriving at Dobhan and then gradually climbs towards Hinku cave. Then begins the uphill portion for an hour before arriving at Deurali for our overnight stay.

Day 7
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)

Hiking through beautiful hills, the trail rises gently to Bagar and then towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp. From here, you can enjoy the splendid views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna.

Continuing along the alpine terrain of the beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary for 3 hours, you arrive at the final destination, Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Once in ABC, you can enjoy the superb views of imposing Annapurna I over the camp.

Day 8
Helicopter Ride to Pokhara and back to Kathmandu in afternoon flight

After reveling in the magnificent views of Annapurna Base Camp, we board our morning helicopter flight to Pokhara. You can enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayan peaks and hills as you’ll fly in the comfort of a helicopter ride.

From Pokhara, you’ll have a scenic flight to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you can check into the hotel, take hot showers and spend your free time exploring around the streets in Kathmandu. Enjoy your farewell dinner in the evening with your trek crews.

Day 9
Final Departure

Our airport representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. We hope you enjoy trekking with us in the beautiful Annapurna Base Camp. Namaste, and have a safe journey.
