Langtang Valley Trek starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trail usually begins from Syabrubesi and heads up the hill through forests to Langtang National Park followed by Langtang village to end at Kyanjin Gompa.

The trail passes around Chorka Ri or Tserko Ri (5,050 m), the highest point on the trek that offers the stunning views of Langtang valley and surrounding mountains. This vantage point offers the breathtaking views of Yala Peak, Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, Naya Khang and associated peaks.

Some of the major highlights include Langtang National Park with its natural biodiversity and cultural attractions like Kyanzing Monastery and traditional Tibetan style villages. The UNESCO World Heritage listed Langtang National Park is home to diverse flora and fauna that includes Red Panda, Himalayan Bears, Monkeys, Himalayan Deers, Pheasants and many more.

The landscape is ever changing and constitutes lush forests, open meadows, yak pastures, waterfalls, glacial lakes, rivers and snow covered peaks. Likewise, this trek offers you an opportunity to get acquainted with native Tamangs who resemble more like Tibetan people and practice Tibetan Buddhism.

Though the 2015 earthquake and subsequent landslides have caused some damages in the region, the locals have been actively involved in rebuilding villages and teahouses for visitors. This region has recovered and re-opened for trekking activities, and this is a perfect choice for those who really care about sustainable tourism and want to support local economies by visiting this region.

Unlike other popular Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Circuit Trek, few visitors to Nepal hike to Langtang valley, but this is where you’ll find one of the best trails packed with high impact scenery and cultural beauty. This is true wilderness hiking, and visiting this region is a great way to explore the natural beauty of Nepal. Come and trek with us, we’ll make your journey memorable.
