Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1400 m)

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You can take a rest or spend your time strolling around the streets of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu offers many interesting places like temples, stupas, local markets, handicraft shops, heritage sites and many more to explore. In addition, you can pay a visit to Thamel, where you can shop for anything you need for the trek at this tourist hub. Enjoy your first day in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Drive to Pokhara (840 m)

Up early, we drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. The scenic drive continues along the Prithvi Highway, following the raging rivers and green hills. Along the journey, you can spot local markets and eateries for travelers.

Once in Pokhara, you can behold the sights of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna ranges, and neighboring peaks. Upon checking into the hotel and having some refreshments, you can wander around Lakeside and the shores of Fewa Lake, where you can enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery of the surrounding landscapes. Here, you can enjoy the boating activities in Fewa Lake or simply chill out with a few drinks admiring the awesome views of the lake, imposing mountains, and hills.

Pokhara is popular for its natural beauty and is a perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life and involve in several adventurous activities. If you are an adrenaline Junkie, Pokhara offers several activities like paragliding, whitewater rafting, ultraflight, mountain biking, canoeing, and bungee jumping, to name a few.

Day 3
Drive to Phedi and Trek to Dhampus (1750 m)

Today, we drive to Phedi, from where you’ll start your hike to Dhampus. A short drive of 45 minutes along the Pokhara Baglung Highway takes you to Phedi. Upon arriving there, we’ll start the hike uphill, passing by the terraced fields and traditional villages.

The path out there follows a steep ascent through dense forests towards Dhampus. On the way, you can enjoy the sights of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, and surrounding peaks.

The hike continues along the trails for about 3 hours to arrive at Dhampus, a beautiful village inhabited by the ethnic Gurung community. This beautiful village along a ridge offers you an amazing sunrise and sunset views over the snow-capped peaks.

Moreover, you can get acquainted with the locals and witness their unique culture and lifestyle. Enjoy your overnight stay at Dhampus.

Day 4
Trek to Sarangkot (1590 m)

Another beautiful day of trekking, starting with an amazing sunrise view over the Annapurna ranges, Machhapuchhre, and neighboring peaks. Leaving Dhampus, you’ll start descending along the trail towards Ghatte Khola.

From here, the trail gently rises up, passing by the lush forests and green fields to arrive at Naudanda village. Hiking along the grassy trail, you’ll continue along terraced hillsides before arriving at the village of Kaskikot.

Next, hiking for a few hours eventually lead to the village of Sarangkot for our overnight stay. Sarangkot is one of the scenic villages lying on the hilltop, offering the panoramic views of Annapurna II, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Himal. This vantage point is popular for the incredible sunrise and sunset views over the giant Himalayan peaks.

Moreover, this place is one of the best paragliding locations all around the world. You can enjoy the sights of paragliders flying high in the sky along with the expansive views of Pokhara city and Fewa lake from here.

Day 5
Trek to Bank of Fewa Lake and half-day Pokhara Sightseeing Tour (840 m)

You’ll be up early for amazing sunrise views over the snow capped Himalayan peaks. You’ll be enjoying the spectacular sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. The views are incredible as the first rays of sun falling in the mountains slowly changed its color, turning bright pink to orange and then gradually white over the peaks. There are tea stalls around the viewpoint where you can rejoice in a warm cup of tea and the views.

Next, after having breakfast, we hike downhill towards Pokhara for 2-3 hours. The trail passes by the villages and terraced fields until you finally reach the main trail leading to Fewa Lake’s bank. Walking along the shores of Fewa Lake, you arrive at the gateway to Fewa Lake in the Lakeside area.

Once in Pokhara, there are a number of activities you can do here, from boating activities to sightseeing tours around the city. First, you’ll take pleasure in boating at Fewa Lake, enjoying the awesome surrounding views of hills and mountains. Then, you’ll begin city tours that include Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple, and Seti River Gorges.

Next, after rejoicing in half-day city tours, you’ll get back to the hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy the nightlife in the Lakeside pubs and bars.

Day 6
Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Today, we drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. The final leg of the journey follows the Prithvi Highway offering scenic views of rivers, hills, and towns along the way. You have the afternoon in Kathmandu for sightseeing, some shopping activities, or simply relaxing in the hotel. In the evening, you’ll be enjoying the farewell dinner with your teammates at the traditional Nepalese restaurant. Enjoy your overnight stay in vibrant Kathmandu.

Day 7
Final Departure
