Everest Heli Tour offers you the chance to reach the base of the world’s highest peak, Everest Base Camp in the comfort of a helicopter. A thrilling heli flight will sweep you over the incredible aerial scenery of snow capped Himalayan giants, and then you’ll be dropped off at Kala Patthar in the alpine for the closest panoramic views of Mount Everest and associated peaks.

This excursion offers scenic helicopter flight overlooking the Khumbu Valley where you’ll enjoy the stunning aerial views of Sherpa villages, lonely monasteries, coniferous forests, raging rivers, giants icefalls, mountain glaciers and many more.

Everest Helicopter tour departs from Kathmandu airport to Hotel Everest View, Namche. You’ll enjoy mouth watering meals at the highest altitude hotel enjoying the scenic mountains views. From here, you’ll board on a private helicopter towards Everest Base Camp.Your first view of the Khumbu Icefall, Khumbu Glacier and the surrounding Everest Base Camp is truly breathtaking. Next, we stop at Kalapatthar (5,555 m) from where you can enjoy the best panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and associated peaks. After spending about 10 minutes at this vantage point, we fly back to Lukla and finally drop off at Kathmandu airport.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our airport representative will pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport and then transfer to your hotel room. Catch the first glimpse of Kathmandu on your way. You can spend your leisure strolling around the bustling streets of Kathmandu. A great place to explore is Thamel which houses shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries, art galleries, handicrafts and many more.

Day 2
Heritage sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley

Today, we go for guided sightseeing tours around the major heritage sites of Kathmandu. The capital city of Nepal encompasses several UNESCO world heritage sites which exhibit the rich historical, socio cultural and religious significance of this country.

Up early, we pay a visit to Pasupatinath Temple, one of the most important religious sites of Hinduism. You will see a large number of Hindu devotees making a pilgrimage to this magnificent temple located on the bank of holy Bagmati River. From here, we visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most popular sites of Tibetan Buddhism. The stupa built in a dome shaped with its square shaped mandala represents the symbol of enlightenment in abstract form as taught by Buddha.
Another major heritage site is Kathmandu Durbar Square. This historical palace used to be the royal residence of ancient Kings of Nepal. There are an array of architectural gems to explore in this complex that includes ancient temples, monuments, courtyards and many more. Next, we go to see Swayambhunath Stupa, another important Buddhist shrine in Nepal. The origin of this stupa dates back to the time of origin of Kathmandu Valley. Here, you will find temples as well as stupas dedicated to both Hindus and Buddhist followers. You can enjoy the scenic views from this complex located on the hilltop.

Day 3
EBC heli tour and farewell dinner in the evening

Today, you’ll enjoy a spectacular heli flight to Everest Base Camp. This heli tour commences from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu flying north towards the Everest region. You’ll enjoy the aerial views of incredible Himalayan peaks as you fly towards Namche. Here, we’ll stop at Hotel Everest View, one of the highest placed hotels on the earth for a delicious lunch. Afterwards, the heli tour heads off to Everest Base Camp. You’ll enjoy the magnificent aerial views of Khumbu Icefall, Khumbu Glacier and the Everest Base Camp in the comfort of a helicopter ride. Here, you can see the trekkers making their journey and the mountaineers setting their camp for the expeditions at the base camp. Next, the helicopter stops at the Kala Patthar from where you can rejoice in the closest panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and neighboring peaks. After spending a few minutes taking photographs and enjoying the superb views, we fly back to Kathmandu Airport.

Day 4
Final Departure

Our airport representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. We hope you enjoy a heli tour to Everest Base Camp with us. Namaste, and have a safe journey.
